Our Beliefs
Our doctrine is rooted in historical precedent, as the church in every age has been called upon to define and defend its beliefs. As a church we bear the responsibility of guarding the treasury of truth that has been entrusted to us [2 Timothy 1:14]. We, therefore, affirm the doctrines as defined in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. You may read it here.

CornerStone receives the scriptures from the Bible as its authority in all matters of faith and practice. Its understanding of Christian truth is in accordance with the belief of other Southern Baptist churches

CornerStone Baptist cooperates with and supports the Spartanburg County Baptist Association and the South Carolina State Convention affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
